Senior Litigation Paralegal
Expanding US Law Firm client is looking for a Senior Litigation Paralegal with solid experience and understanding of working in a Litigation department. This will be a permanent role based in the firms stunning London office.
- Salary to £60,000 + Overtime.
- Hybrid Working 3 days in office 2 remote & Excellent employee benefits / wellbeing initiatives.
- Hands on, heavily autonomous position.
The role will require the Litigation Legal Assistant to aid the forms busy litigation practice. The role will work closely with Partners and Associates of the Firm.
Duties of the Senior Litigation Paralegal:
- Assist with all stages of document production.
- Take ownership advanced & complex projects with minimal to no supervision.
- Acting as main point of contact for attorneys and other staff on projects.
- Mentor to less experienced members of Paralegal team.
- Collate information and KYC documentation for review and use.
- Perform high level research and analysis.
- Knowledge sharing with team.
- Document management pre and post completion.
- Coordinate transactional tasks with clients, advisors, and attorneys.
- Coordinate with government authorities and other free zones to gather information, all whilst developing and maintaining business relationships.
- Arrange files and documents to be signed and approved via DocuSign.
- Organise and manage files, both electronic and paper.
- Create and maintain databases and run complex searches.
- Prepare Audit Response Letters.
- Assist with witness materials.
- Prepare court bundles and documentation.
- Assist with trial proceedings.
Requirements of the Senior Litigation Paralegal:
- Minimum 4 years’ experience ideally in a Litigation or Corporate Legal Department.
- Have an understanding of online resources such as Westlaw, LexisNexis as well as other outlets to perform research and present findings.
- Strong initiative and resourcefulness.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, organisation, and planning abilities.
- Excellent client service standards.
- Flexibility to travel and adjust hours around the needs of the firm.
- Legal Practice Course and Law Degree or similar.
