Senior Legal Counsel

Fantastic opportunity for an experienced lawyer to join this business as a Senior Legal Counsel, focused on large project work with an international remit.

This role would be well suited to a Commercial Lawyer who has a track record of working in the Energy sector, ideally with offshore/EPCI contract negotiation skills.

This role is a Senior Legal Counsel position, so ideally this person will have at least five years of experience working in this space, ideally with a mixture of private practice and in-house experience. However if you are in private practice with multiple secondments then our client would be interested to hear from you.

Your role will be focused on supporting operations in Africa and the Middle East - experience of supporting in these regions is highly desirable but not essential as the law is typically English law.

Your role will involve:

• supporting tender managers to develop effective contractual / negotiation strategies
• review and qualify contracts and lead on client negotiations
• contribute to the development and delivery of the team's strategy
