Senior IFA Administrator

£26,000 - £32,000

NJR Recruitment is currently working with a well known regional Chartered IFA practice that specialise in providing high quality personal advice on many aspects. Due to their ongoing growth they are now looking to appoint an experienced IFA Administrator to join their practice.

The role is to work with the existing administration and the technical teams to support a senior financial planner who advises on Whole of Market products. It will involve working with high net worth individuals and corporate clients on areas including pensions, investments, trusts and estate planning.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Analysing and assisting with research for compiling Financial Planning reports
  • Handling client queries wherever possible for the Advisers
  • Servicing existing clients by providing valuations and portfolio updates
  • Ensuring that all new business applications are processed accurately
  • Send letters of authority and gather accurate information
  • Provide an efficient and friendly point of contact for clients and providers, by phone, email and in person
  • Maintaining client records
  • Processing of commissions
  • Adhoc projects and administrative tasks as and when necessary

What do we need from you?

  • Previous experience working within an IFA firm in a similar role
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and telephone manner
  • Excellent organisation, time management and prioritising skills
  • Good knowledge of financial planning products and providers
  • The ability to work well within a team environment and to build effective working relationship
  • Experience of provider platforms and back office systems (ideally Intelliflo) would also be of benefit
