Senior Digital IC Design Engineer - Cambridge

Responsibilities

  • Develop digital designs for custom IC integration, including writing IP design specifications and coding Verilog and SystemVerilog models for simulation, synthesis, and static timing analysis. Create testbenches and automated build scripts for simulation and verification.
  • Construct automated pre-silicon verification environments and provide support for embedded firmware development in early silicon development stages. Integrate and partition in-house designs and third-party IP, incorporating modeling logic to represent mixed signal design elements.
  • Contribute to the validation of new silicon chips by engineering a suite of validation tests assessing electrical performance and functionality. These tests will combine CI/CD automation with manual tests involving measurements from electrical test equipment.

Qualifications

  • 6+ years of experience in the digital custom IC design development
  • Digital IC design and verification for ASIC implementation
  • Strong knowledge of industry-standard interface technology (I2C, SPI, UART, SWD, JTAG, etc)

as well as knowledge of on-chip bus protocol (AMBA AHB, APB, AXI-Stream, etc)Strong

  • Knowledge of UVM, SVA, VIP, and UPF for digital IC design verification
