Elevation Recruitment Group are delighted to partnering with one of our Professional service clients to identify a Senior HRBP.  Operating within a Global organisation the role will deliver a true HRBP service to stakeholders.

Our client is a trusted partner to their customers and stakeholders, ensuring that ultimately they attract and retain the best talent to future-proof their footprint and deliver beyond expectation.  For this HRBP role you will work as part of a UK and global HR team, ideally based Sheffield or Manchester but with other suitable locations across the UK, this is an outstanding opportunity to utilise and further develop your skills as a senior HRBP.

You’ll be comfortable with ambiguity and change and have the gravitas to hold your own in discussions with senior stakeholders. Key focus of the role:

  • You will help to set the HR / Talent agenda for your aligned region and division for both the stakeholder’s strategic business plans and the organisation’s people strategy
  • You will bring commercial and pragmatic HR expertise to discussions with key stakeholders, partnering with colleagues across the whole HR function to design and deliver well thought through people solutions;
  • You will deliver the business wide people plans and cyclical people activity across the performance cycle, salary and bonus review and wellbeing strategy etc.  You will use insights gained from partnering with your business areas to help shape these priorities and approaches going forward
  • You will act as a leader within HR as well as a HR leader in your business areas, leading on projects and initiatives for the business and identifying and acting on opportunities to coach and develop colleagues within the function.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Operating as the Lead HR Business Partnering responsibility for assigned business areas and be a key point of contact for HR, bringing commercial and pragmatic HR expertise to your key stakeholders, designing and delivering well thought people solutions
  • Supporting stakeholders on a Global level
  • Lead on the approach and coordination of cyclical HR such as strategic workforce planning, performance reviews and annual reward cycle.
  • Lead on HR projects, diagnosing needs and developing solutions e.g approach to talent identification and management, employee engagement, change management.
  • Work with colleagues to drive innovation and continuous improvement across the HR function ensuring knowledge is captured
  • Partner with our Employee Relations Team to provide advice to stakeholders on complex policy and employee relations issues.
  • Be an active member of the HR Business Partnering leadership team, acting as a leader of the HR function as well as an HR leader within your aligned business area.

We’re looking for the following key skills:

  • Strong HR and business acumen, with the ability to demonstrate a commercial and pragmatic approach.
  • Proven track record of driving forward a HR agenda in line with business strategy from diagnostic through to designing and delivering solutions. Technical depth in a specialist HR discipline such as Leadership and Talent, Organisational Development, Strategic Workforce Planning or Employee Experience would be an advantage.
  • Demonstrable strategic thinking skills with the ability to develop business strategy and issues into a people strategy and plan.
  • Ability to analyse key people metrics and use data to influence business leaders’ decisions
  • Demonstrable ability to coach and influence senior stakeholders to foster true strategic partnering
  • Experience of implementing a cloud based HRIS would be advantage.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills. Ability to “talk business” not “just HR” .  with the ability to articulate best practice HR in a practical and accessible manner, both face to face and in writing and at all levels.
