I am thrilled to be working with my client in the engineering sector who are on the hunt for an experienced HR Advisor to join their team. Reporting into the Group Head of HR, you will get the exposure to learn from some excellent HR professionals and gain invaluable HR experience. If you are a confident HR Advisor looking for a new challenge, this will be the right role for you!

The role's deliverables:

  • Contribute to the full operational duties of the HR team, from managing the employee lifecycle from onboarding to exit interviews, processing contracts and maintaining the HR system
  • Support with the recruitment efforts of the company
  • Manage a high volume ER case load ranging from absence and performance management, to grievances and disciplinary issues
  • Provide consultation and advice to line managers across the business on best HR practice and policies
  • Be competent with BAU (business as usual) and support the wider HR team on any ad-hoc tasks


The ideal candidate:

  • A confident HR Professional with a few years of Advising under their belt
  • Experience with managing a busy ER case load is essential
  • CIPD qualification is desirable, though not essential
  • Keeps up to date with employment law and experience with advising managers on policies
  • TUPE experience is desirable, though not essential
  • Excellent experience and confidence with administering the full employee lifecycle
  • A business-oriented, confident, results-driven HR professional that can confidently consult line managers across the business
