Senior HR Advisor / HR Business Partner - 12-Month Fixed Term Contract - ASAP Start

We are seeking a dedicated Senior HR Advisor / HRBP to join our client on a 12-month fixed term contract for an organisation based near Cambridgeshire. The successful candidate will serve as a key advisor, providing guidance, training, and support to managers and stakeholders to promote positive people relations practices within the Public Sector Organisation.

The role is paying between £36,000 - £40,000 with a hybrid working model with two days on site per week.

This role will also involve contributing to the development and implementation of strategies and policies aimed at enhancing employee experience and organisational effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the expert in people relations, offering advice, coaching, and support
  • Promote awareness and adoption of positive people relations practices, including well-being initiatives and performance standards
  • Plan, deliver, and develop people relations activities, contributing to policy definition and development
  • Manage a caseload of people cases, such as disciplinary matters and grievances
  • Analyse internal data to provide insights and identify solutions for people relations issues, supporting decision-making and improvement initiatives
  • Monitor and review initiatives and contracts to drive continuous improvement
  • Coordinate the development of employment policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with legislation and organisation values
  • Champion equality, diversity, and inclusivity practices
  • Provide support and guidance to peers within the team, facilitating personal development and career progression.

Proven experience in people relations, HR, or a related role with complex case work management

  • Strong knowledge of employment legislation and best practices.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organsational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

In return, the role will offer:

  • £36,000 - £40,000 salary per annum
  • Hybrid working with around two days on site

  • 25 days holiday + bank holidays
