Senior Fund Manager

£85,000-£90,000 p.a.

Hybrid, London

We are currently working with a fast-growing accounting and funds consultancy in central London looking to hire a Senior Fund Accounting Manager to join their dynamic fund services team.

The Senior Manager will provide high-quality accounting services to a range of private equity and real estate entities. You will oversee a team of Fund Accountants, fostering their growth, while also taking charge of nurturing and improving client relationships within the team's portfolio.

Responsibilities include:

  • Management and development of the team including workflow and appraisals
  • Review of Accounts and preparation of complex set of accounts
  • Manage the quarterly reporting and annual reporting cycles
  • Manage the process of VAT returns/ UK tax returns
  • Manage the client billing process for the team
  • Liaise with auditors and other third parties
  • Manage client relationships and organise and attend relevant meetings being their key point of contact

Qualifications:

  • Accounting Qualification (ACCA, ACA, CIMA or equivalent)
  • Several years PQE within the financial services/ Private Equity or Real Estate funds industry is essential
  • Extensive experience managing and developing teams as well as client relationships
  • Experience in Fund Accounting including preparation of capital calls and distributions, preparation of periodic reporting and capital accounts
  • Experience in producing financial statements to IFRS, UK GAAP including consolidation
  • Knowledge of Investran is a plus
