Are you ACCA, CIMA or ACA certified? If so, I would be keen to hear from you. I am currently seeking a Senior FP&A Analyst to join a global company on a permanent working basis based in Guildford.
As the Senior FP&A Analyst you'll be focusing on steering profit and loss while analysing financial results and driving business decisions.
Key responsibilities for the Senior FP&A Analyst;

  • Financial Performance Analysis: Dive into the financial performance of multiple branches, pinpointing key drivers, risks, and opportunities.
  • Monthly Cost Analysis: Take charge of monthly cost and billing analysis.
  • Plan Monitoring: Keep a close eye on actuals versus plan, analysing deviations and recommending measures to ensure plan achievement. Track ongoing progress, including major project initiatives.
  • Financial Target Recommendations: Develop recommendations for financial targets within operational planning and forecasting processes.
  • Business Support and Challenge: Support and challenge business representatives based on insightful financial analysis.
  • Guidelines and Processes Development: Contribute to establishing and evolving guidelines, methods, processes, and systems for controlling topics.

Key skills for the Senior FP&A Analyst;

  • Qualified Accountant: ACCA/CIMA/ACA certified.
  • Strong background in financial controlling, planning, and analysis.
  • Ability to work independently and resolve complex situations using diverse information sources.
  • Proficient in Excel and experienced with relevant controlling systems such as SAP FI-CO/BW and Service Now.
  • Understanding of IT costs and services is desirable.
