I am pleased to be supporting my client in the recruitment of a Senior FP&A Analyst on a 6 month fixed term contract. My client are a global financial services business who offer a superb hybrid working model (2 days office 3 home). Due to this being a fixed term contract I am seeking a candidate who can start swiftly and ideally hit the ground running.

Please find an overview of the role below:

  • Ability to understand financial trends and provide insights to senior management
  • Prepare detailed reports on financial performance on a regular basis
  • Develop and arrange delivery of financial and operational metrics to support key business decisions
  • Work with other members of the finance team to ensure the efficient delivery of the finance processes
  • Comply with any external rules and requirements imposed
  • Evaluate financial performance by comparing and analysing actual results with budgets and forecasts
  • Assist in the development and production of quarterly forecasts, budgets, and longer-term planning

Experience & knowledge:

  • Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in financial software applications, ideally with experience using TM1 and Power BI
  • Adaptable to change and be able to adapt to a fast paced and dynamic forecasting and planning environment
  • Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to analyse financial data and develop financial models
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders
  • High attention to detail
