Senior Flood Risk Consultant- Maidstone

My client, an innovative UK based Engineering Consultancy which specialises in Civil, Structural and Infrastructure Engineering, is searching for a Senior Flood Risk Consultant to join an established team of Engineers based in Kent.

It is essential that applicants have a strong academic background in a relevant discipline including a BSc/BEng and/or MSc/MEng in Civil Engineering, Hydrology or Environmental Management and have experience working for a UK based Consultancy completing Flood Risk Assessments and Drainage Strategies.

It is beneficial for applicants to reside locally and have experience completing drainage strategies or design using microdrainage or flow.

This exciting role will offer candidates the opportunity to join a team of experienced Engineers to work on Residential, Commercial and Environmental Planning Projects to complete Flood Risk Assessments, Drainage Strategies and Drainage Designs using Microdrainage.

Applicants will also be supported to complete the following;

-Flood Risk Assessments for flood zones 1,2 and 3.

-Surface Water Management Plans.

-Drainage Strategies and detailed Residential Drainage and Sewerage Design using AutoCAD and Microdrainage.

-Drainage Area Planning.

-Project management and team mentoring.

-Client meetings to discuss project progress.
