The Senior Fire Risk Assessor's Role
The selected Senior Fire Risk Assessor will take charge of projects, performing comprehensive Type 1-4 Fire Risk Assessments in various environments, including residential, commercial, HMOs, and high-rise buildings. The role is tailored for individuals who excel in taking on responsibilities and are eager to leverage their expertise in a diverse and challenging setting.
The Senior Fire Risk Assessor
- Boasts a minimum of 2 years of experience in fire risk assessment.
- Is accredited on the TFRAR Tier 2 or 3 (Fire Risk Assessor Register), demonstrating their adherence to high professional standards.
- Ideally has hands-on experience in conducting Type 1-4 site risk assessments, with training support offered for those aiming to refine their skills.
- Exhibits proficiency in compartmentation surveys, a critical skill for evaluating fire safety within buildings.
- Maintains professional memberships with IFE/IFSM, highlighting their recognised competence in the sector.
- Has a proven track record in managing fire risk assessments across residential, commercial, and retail sectors, showcasing their extensive knowledge of varying requirements.
- Possesses strong client-facing capabilities, ensuring the provision of superior technical advice and solutions.
- Is capable of aiding in the development of documents, policies, and procedures, contributing significantly to the consultancy's knowledge base and operational efficiency.
