Salary: £30,000 - £35,000
Currently working with a award winning and one of the UK’s fastest growing manufacturing service providers who is looking to appoint a Senior Finance Officer within their Finance division.
This position will suit a enthusiastic and talented finance professional looking for hands on and dynamic role. You will be working alongside a strong analytical finance manager who will provide mentoring and development opportunities.
Ideally looking for someone able to start immediately or at short notice.
Personal Profile:
- AAT / Part Qualified or QBE Accounts experience
- Experience in gained within a similar Accounts Assistant / Finance Officer role within the manufacturing industry
- Knowledge & Implementation of online Sage/ MRP Systems
- Strong IT skills, particularly Excel
- Experienced in Payroll (Desirable)
Daily Duties:
- Checking and matching Purchase Invoices to PO & Receipt
- Preparing monthly Supplier Bacs payments for review and approval
- Preparing Creditor Reconciliations to Statements
- Checking Sales Invoices before sending to Customers
- Ensuring that due and overdue amounts from Customers are collected in a timely manner
- Posting all bank receipts and payments, and AP/AR transactions onto Sage/Xero
- Maintaining Accruals & Prepayments lists
- Payroll – Weekly payroll processing circa 50 staff
- Submission of HMRC Returns including those for VAT & Payroll etc
- Preparing Reports for Senior Managers
- Developing and managing financial systems/policies
- Preparing a monthly Trial Balance for Group CFO
- Performing audits of departments within the organisation
- Demonstrate understanding of products, machine capabilities & customer expectations
