Senior Finance Assistant - £25-£30k - Holsworthy - Permanent- Part-time (min 3 days)

Trial Balance Consulting have once again been exclusively assigned by a long-standing client, who are currently seeking to recruit an experienced Senior Finance Assistant . This is a multifaceted, highly successful and long-standing business which operates across numerous sectors throughout the south-west.

Reporting to an experienced Financial Controller, the incoming candidate will assume day-to-day responsibility of both the management accounts and the payroll function for several business in the group. You will be joining a small and friendly finance team, who work collaboratively and harmoniously to achieve the goals set by the SLT.

Responsibilities will include (but not limited to):

- Preparation of monthly management accounts

- VAT return preparation

- Payroll and pension administration

- Bank reconciliations

- Purchase and sales ledger processing

- Processing supplier payments within agreed timescales.

This role would suit an experienced finance professional who has a detailed knowledge of double-entry bookkeeping, excellent IT and software skills, as well as a good understanding of payroll processing and administration. The successful candidate will likely be AAT qualified, although those who are still studying or qualified by experience will be equally considered. A good working knowledge of MS Excel and XERO is also desirable.
