Senior Finance Analyst

Our client, a household brand name and highly regarded organisation, with a proven track record for retaining and rewarding its talent, is looking for a credible and ambitious Senior Finance Analyst to join its ranks.
The forms part of the IT and Change Finance team, focusing on accounting and analysis to support the business in key decision making relating to the CIO#s change project portfolio, as well as supporting financial analysis of ongoing IT spend. This is a hybrid role, with just c1 - 2 days required in the office.
Main duties include:
* Full ownership and accountability of project reporting including budgeting, forecasting and decision support
* Managing monthly review and submission process for the CIO change portfolio, providing high level analysis of performance and identify risks and opportunities
* Ensuring full transparency, understanding and interpretation of change portfolio financial performance, articulating drivers of cost
* Providing financial insight, analysis and reporting on performance versus budget and forecast
* Managing budgeting and forecasting process, challenge Project Managers and deliver a robust plan
* Providing expert advice to Finance Leadership Team, CFO and functional lead team
Key skills & experience required:
* ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified
* Experience of working in project finance environment would be ideal, operating at a senior level across multiple stakeholder groups
* Strong finance systems knowledge (ideally SAP, BI)
* Good knowledge of business cases and investment appraisals
* Confident and credible business partner, with the ability to influence and challenge where necessary
* Self-starter with an inquisitive mindset and positive approach to problem solving
This is a fantastic opportunity for a highly motivated and dynamic Senior Finance Analyst to join this innovative team, working on high-profile projects, giving the successful candidate valuable exposure to the business. You'll be primed for an internal move usually in c18 months - 2 years and there are plenty of examples of existing Heads of Finance and Directors having been promoted from within, giving you confidence it's an organisation which can facilitate long-term career growth.
