Are you a detail-oriented individual with a passion for numbers? BIMM University is seeking a Senior Finance Analyst to play a crucial role in managing financial transactions and providing accurate financial information to support our institution's operations.

?What You'll do:

  • Transaction Processing: Process and analyse financial transactions accurately and in a timely manner to ensure the smooth operation of financial processes
  • Journal Entries: Prepare monthly journal entries such as accruals, prepayments, and recharges to maintain financial records
  • Reconciliation: Support balance sheet reconciliations, investigating and resolving any discrepancies
  • Planning Support: Assist in the annual planning cycle by contributing to plans, budgets, and forecasts in collaboration with Finance Business Partners
  • Reporting Assistance: Contribute to monthly management reporting and provide detailed analysis as needed
  • Student Analytics: Assist with student analytics and income reporting to help understand financial trends
  • Utilities and Rent Management: Produce schedules for utilities, rents, and rates to ensure accurate financial tracking
  • Project Support: Provide assistance on finance projects as required

?What You'll Bring:

  • Experience working in a fast-paced business function
  • Proficiency in finance systems
  • Strong numerical skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build professional relationships
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • General business and commercial experience
  • As a Senior Finance Analyst, you'll be instrumental in shaping the financial narrative of our institution, contributing to our mission of empowering students to achieve their academic and professional aspirations
