Senior Estates Surveyor

Location: East Midlands

Contract: 3-months ongoing

Pay: Inside IR35 – Circa £375 per day

Our client, a local authority in the East Midlands, is seeking a qualified Chartered Surveyor to join their team as a Senior Estates Surveyor. In this role, you will support the work of the strategic asset team in implementing the council's corporate landlord model and reviewing operational assets. You will also lead on landlord and tenant matters for the "Communities" portfolio of property and oversee the implementation of the council's community asset transfer policy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the strategic asset team in implementing the council's corporate landlord model and reviewing operational assets.
  • Lead on landlord and tenant matters for the "Communities" portfolio of property.
  • Regularize occupations and manage lettings for the portfolio.
  • Implement the council's community asset transfer policy and handle applications received.

Requirements

  • Qualified Chartered Surveyor.
  • Experience in supporting strategic asset teams and implementing corporate landlord models.
  • Strong understanding of landlord and tenant matters.
  • Experience in managing property lettings and regularizing occupations.
  • Knowledge of community asset transfer policies and procedures.
  • Previous experience working for a Local Authority
