Senior Energy & Infrastructure (Projects) Associate
This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Energy Projects Associate to join one of the largest energy & infrastructure groups in the world, at an international, future-facing law firm.
About the Role
- With more than 450 energy and climate change lawyers, including over 100 partners, the firm's energy and climate change practice works across 75 offices globally
They advise on a wide range of transactions within the energy and resources sector such as:
- Upstream oil and gas M&A
- Downstream transactions
- Commercial and supply chain contracts
- Licences and concessions
- Joint operating agreements and joint ventures
- Off-take and sales agreements, and now transactional activity in energy transition technologies. This includes offshore and onshore wind, hydrogen and ammonia projects, LNG, energy storage, solar, electric vehicles, carbon capture and storage.
About You
- You should have solid experience gained in private practice and/or in-house within the UK or other common law jurisdiction.
- Excellent black letter law skills
- Experience drafting and negotiating project agreements in the sector
- A commitment to professional development and to becoming a deep sector expert
