Senior Electronics Engineer
Senior Electronic Engineer - £50 - 65k - Reading - Hybrid
My client is a global leader in their niche providing audio visual solutions for the film and broadcast industry. Due to sustained success, they’re expanding their engineering team,
Main duties:
+ Design cutting-edge hardware with a skilled team using high-end FPGAs and CPUs.
+ Maintain and enhance hardware design capabilities, incorporating new tools for continuous improvement.
+ Improve manufacturing efficiency by implementing test automation and optimizing DFM/DFT, while addressing existing product issues and component availability challenges.
Skills and Experience Required:
+ 5+ years of experience in hardware development & a track record of the product life cycle
+ Digital circuit board design, some analogue design experience is useful
+ Schematic entry and PCB layout guidance
+ Experience contributing to new product design and development
Bonus:
+ OrCAD, PADS/Allegro design tools
+ Knowledge of high speed interfaces and SI modelling
