Do you want to use your experience to help develop the next generation of aeronautic engineering talent, where you will work alongside the Electronics Engineering Lead and PCB technicians to design and develop upgrades to industry-leading UAS solutions, creating bespoke systems for the most extreme and demanding situations?

On offer is the unique opportunity to join a specialist manufacturer of heavy-lift UAVs which is supplying this technology to a diverse portfolio of clients, where you will become a senior member of the electronics team.

You will be a pivotal part of the design, development, and testing processes, using your experience with electronics and electrical design to produce exceptional products for a range of high-profile clients while guiding and mentoring junior engineers in collaboration with the Lead Electronics Engineer.

The Role:

• Work alongside the Electronics Engineering Lead to coordinate team and assist with the training and mentorship of junior / intermediate engineers
• Design and develop upgrades to UAS solutions, using testing data to refine and develop systems, utilising both AC and DC circuits
• Act as a client liaison throughout the design and development process, responding to needs and integrating feedback in the refinement process
• Act as point of contact for technical issues throughout design, development, and manufacturing processes
• Develop testing procedures to upgrade systems to industry standards
• Develop and design products in line with manufacturing requirements
• Collaborate with colleagues to research and develop new UAV technology

The Person:

• Experience with microcontroller programming and PCB design and layout
• Experience with programming languages, including C Sharp and Python
