Position: Senior Electronic Engineer
Salary: Up to £80,000 + benefits
The role: An exciting new role has been created for a senior or lead electronics engineer to join our client as they continue to develop innovative products for the healthcare sector. They have plenty of new project work available and an exciting roadmap planned. Their office is based in the north Birmingham area, with parking available on site.
Skills and experience required:
- Digital circuit design
- PCB design and layout
- ARM, STM32 Processors
- UART, RS232, RS485, I2C, Ethernet
This role will best suit an Electronic Design Engineer who is passionate about developing innovative solutions for a product range that improves people's lives. You will be comfortable in a small team environment and enjoy the variety of work this style of working presents. You will ideally have experience in a senior or lead technical role and comfortable taking on a lead role and having a real impact in all decisions related to electronics design.
You will be experienced designing both analogue and digital circuits, be strong with PCB design (Altium desired) and familiar with a host of serial protocols including RS485, UART, SPI, RS232, I2C, Ethernet etc. Any experience with wireless protocols (Zigbee, BLE, WiFi etc) or IoT connected devices would make your CV stand out.
Desirable skills and experience:
- Altium design package suite
- Wireless protocols: BLE, ZigBee, WiFi etc
- Medical industry experience
