About the Role:

The Energy Division at ARM is currently seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer (Low Voltage) to join a Leading Nuclear Defence Client

Key responsibilities include:

• Assist the Design Manager in project delivery.
• Support Electrical Services Engineering Lead
• Manage technical deliverables for engineering packages.
• Participate in problem-solving and development of technical solutions.
• Supervise and guide junior staff.
• Use Learn from Experience information to develop theoretical knowledge.
• Support development, construction, installation, commissioning, and maintenance of Facilities
• Support on-site inspection of DRDL assets.
• Maintain familiarity with DRDL procedures in Facilities Engineering

What you need to succeed:

• Design electrical building services, low voltage distribution systems, control & instrumentation systems, and communications/data systems.
• Experience with substantiation of SIL and high-integrity systems for Nuclear Safety functions.
• Demonstrate knowledge and skills for complex design development throughout lifecycle.
• Provide expert advice to design houses and manage design activities.
• Understanding of engineering design, safety practice, project management, and budgeting.
• Knowledge of Company procedures for Design, Health & Safety, and Quality requirements.
• Working knowledge of engineering computer applications.
• Experience with design support for construction, operation, and maintenance of regulated facilities.
