Senior Electrical Design Engineer

Our client a leading provider of building services engineering design, energy and carbon reduction strategies are currently recruiting for a Senior Electrical Design Engineer on a full time, permanent basis from their East Croydon office. Their role will be to oversee junior staff and undertake engineering designs, provide project management and administration duties and to monitor design team costs taking into account the programme and budget provided for each of the projects.

They will also be responsible for undertaking fee assessments and providing fee bids for projects as directed.

Senior Electrical Design Engineer Position Remuneration

• Salary: £40,000 - 70,000 DOE
• Petrol and expenses paid
• 25 days holiday
• Working hours 8:30 - 5:30 - 37.5 hours

Senior Electrical Design Engineer Position Overview

• Based from their East Croydon office with site visits as required
• To implement company procedures policy.
• To carry out Electrical design and project management of various types of projects in accordance with the company aims and policies.
• To manage design team and provide Electrical engineering support to all Electrical engineers
• Liaise with clients and attend meetings on all aspects of the projects.
• Maintain and expand current client base.
• Carry out surveys and produce reports.
• Carry out quality inspections of projects.
• Use CAD systems in line with Pinnacle company procedures.
• Monitor financial aspects of projects.
• Formulate Electrical standards within the organisation
• Production of drawings manually. CAD experience essential
• Project management of multi-disciplinary projects

Senior Electrical Design Engineer Position Requirements

• Qualified to at least HNC or Degree Level
• Full UK Driving license
• Experience using Windows, Excel/Word, Autocad and Microsoft Project
• Knowledge of CIBSE Guides, IEE Regulations, CDM Regulations, British Standards and Revit / BIM
• Project experience in the Residential, Education, Commercial and Leisure sectors.
