Senior Design Engineer - Chassis

As our next Senior Design Engineer - Chassis, you'll be leading the new design developments.

Attention to detail is crucial, as you'll be responsible for supporting drawings and developing design engineering standards. Additionally, you should be able to multi-task effectively, answering questions and switching between projects seamlessly.

As a Senior Design Engineer - Chassis, you are someone who pays attention to detail, delivers accurate work, and takes direction well from the rest of the team. You thrive on the challenge of multitasking and enjoy implementing new ideas. Your remit would involve new design developments concepts, providing process support, and ensuring the development of engineering standards.

You will have the opportunity to work with a dedicated team and your day-to-day activities will include leading the team, overseeing design developments, and supporting drawing processes. Financial considerations and outsourcing design will also be part of your responsibilities.

The Key Requirements...

• Design of automotive structural components and systems, Chassis or Body Structure
• 2D and 3D CAD generation
• Design For Manufacturing experience
• Working with a complex package environment
• Good knowledge of main automotive manufacturing technologies
• Complex systems sizing and designing.
• 2D drafting and GD&T
