Senior Corporate Tax Manager
Location: Leeds
Salary: £50,000- £70,000 DOE

The Opportunity

You will be part of a close-knit team where you will be able to put your stamp on your career with no hierarchy system. The accountancy firm offers a modern open planned office space. There is an option for a hybrid approach on an ad-hoc basis.

The Role
As a Senior Corporate Tax Manager, you will play an important role in managing a team. You will be responsible for identifying opportunities for clients to reduce their tax liabilities.  Further to the above your main duties will include:

  • Collaborate with finance, legal and other departments to provide tax-related guidance and support for business initiatives
  • Participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives to drive operational excellence and achieve company objectives
  • Stay informed about changes in tax legislation
  • Develop and implement tax planning strategies
  • Manage relationships with clients and other stakeholders
  • Lead and mentor a team of tax professionals, providing guidance, training and support to foster their professional growth

Our Ideal Candidate
We are open to individuals with a strong background in a Corporate Tax role in either a junior or senior role. Previous experience of working in a similar role would be highly advantageous. Furthermore, we are looking for the following:
  • Excellent communication skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Commercially aware
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong technical knowledge of corporate tax compliance
