Reporting to the Client Services Director, our client is seeking a proactive and strategic Senior Corporate Portfolio Manager to lead a small team in the mid to large corporate sector. This full-time role offers a negotiable salary based on experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively manage a small team within the corporate sector, focusing on client service and business development.
  • Maintain and develop an existing portfolio of clients while identifying opportunities for growth.
  • Serve as the face of the business at networking events in Hull and surrounding areas, leveraging connections to expand our reach.
  • Drive business development efforts, seeking referrals and cultivating new relationships.
  • Champion efficiencies and best practices, contributing to strategic decision-making.
  • Build a network of contacts to attract new clients and expand our market presence.


Essential Requirements:

  • Strategic thinking with a qualification as an ACCA or ICAEW accountant.
  • In-depth knowledge of current accounting standards, legislation, and business tax regulations.
  • Minimum of twelve months' post-qualification experience managing teams and client portfolios.
  • Confident representation of the business at seminars, conferences, and events.
  • Proven track record in business development and achieving results.
  • Commercially astute with a focus on margin achievement in pricing negotiations.
  • Strong networking skills with experience promoting and presenting to potential clients.
  • Process-driven mindset to drive revenue maximization.
  • Positive, proactive ambassador for the business with excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage relationships and pursue new business opportunities.


Desirable Skills:

  • Aspiration to become a Partner and shape the future of the business.
  • Personal tax experience would be advantageous.
