Job Title: Senior Compliance Executive -  Accountancy and Taxation
Location: Nr Bishop's Stortford
Salary: £32,500
Term: Full time, permanent – Office based
 
RecruitAbility has an excellent opportunity for a Senior Compliance Executive to join a well-established accountancy and taxation practice who are dedicated to providing an excellent service to their clients believing in innovation, continuous improvement, and investing in their people.
 
The role of Senior Compliance Executive:
As a Senior Compliance Executive, you will be at the forefront of this exciting role, making a significant impact on the firm's and their clients' business compliance.
You will be responsible for:
  • Updating, maintaining, and safeguarding company registers.
  • Processing and filing minutes from directors' and shareholders' meetings.
  • Preparation and filing of resolutions and statutory forms.
  • Filing of annual accounts and confirmation statements.
  • Ensuring compliance with statutory procedures, including maintaining statutory registers and minutes.
To be considered for the role of Senior Compliance Executive:
You are required to have:
  • Law degree and/or company secretarial qualification or equivalent
  • At least 2-3 years' experience in a similar role
  • Strong knowledge of Companies Act 2006 and UK statutory requirements.
  • Strong knowledge of regulations pertaining to anti-money laundering and data
  • Knowledge of or ability to quickly learn quickly and apply knowledge pertaining to all regulations affecting clients and the firm.
  • Experience in maintaining statutory registers and handling company secretarial
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to meeting filing and notification deadlines.
  • Team player
  • Focused on achieving assigned tasks; takes initiatives to achieve a high level of and prompt service to our clients.
  • Comply with time sheets recording and work plans and priorities set.
Training may be provided but you are expected to learn as much as possible.
 
Package for the role of Senior Compliance Executive:
Basic salary: £32,500
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9.00 am to 5.30pm
