Senior CNC Service Engineer

Salary: Up to £45k + Benefits

Location: Various

Metalis are working with a UK leading supplier and servicing, who work with a range of industries including: Aerospace, Defense, Medical, Automotive an many more. Our client is looking for a Senior CNC Service Engineer to join their team, whether this be Electrical or mechanical biased on a permanent basis.

The Role:

  • Service & maintain a range of machine tool products.
  • Diagnose and repair any problems & replace any parts.
  • Identifying any parts required and order via Service and/or Spares department.
  • Planned maintenance.
  • Carrying out Renishaw Ballbar Callibration
  • Be an integral part of a project installation team.
  • Completing written reports
  • Support & assist technical support engineers as and when required.
  • Mentoring junior engineering technicians, trainees & apprentices.

The Requirements:

  • Electrical or Mechanical Engineering apprentice trained.
  • Understand CNC Control Systems
  • Basic mechanical knowledge
  • Understanding of electrical wiring diagrams (Desirable)
  • Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems (Desirable)
  • Minimum of 7 years' Service Engineer
  • Full UK Driving License
