A new opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated Senior Claims Handler to join a very professional and friendly Claims team, dealing with Major Clients.

You will be working with claims across a diverse range of clients throughout their main business areas, in a highly professional and successful environment, where your experience will enable you to deliver a high quality claims service to all clients.

This is a role than can be performed on a hybrid basis, working at home and occasionally to collaborate with your colleagues, in the office.

As a Senior Claims Handler your key responsibilities will include:

  • Working with the Claims Managers to ensure timely delivery of Client service
  • Notification to Insurers of a new claim, providing advice to Clients and working with colleagues on delivery
  • Drive claims settlements with Insurers, based on your technical and market knowledge
  • Build constructive Client and third party relationships
  • Work with external parties, including Loss Adjusters, Surveyors and Solicitors to ensure timely delivery for your Clients
  • Supporting colleagues to produce accurate and updated renewal information for the Corporate team
  • Ensure the secure efficient and auditable handling of client monies

To be a successful Senior Claims Handler, you will have:

  • Strong Claims Handling experience of Commercial classes
  • Excellent communication with ability to build strong working relationships
  • Superb organisational skills with the capability to prioritise work accordingly
  • Track record of successfully delivering an excellent service to Clients
  • Great attention to detail with good time management
