Position: Senior Claims Advocate - P&C

Location: London - Hybrid

Salary: £60,000 - £75,000 +benefits / bonus

The Opportunity

They are seeking a highly skilled Senior Claims Advocate with expertise in Property and Casualty insurance to join the team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing complex claims originating from Australia, ensuring timely resolution and maintaining effective communication with clients throughout the process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assume full responsibility for the management of complex claims within the Property and Casualty sector, with a focus on business emanating from Australia.
  • Ensure claims are handled efficiently and effectively, meeting all relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Act as a primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates on claim status and addressing any concerns or inquiries promptly.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including underwriters and claims specialists, to ensure seamless coordination and resolution of claims.
  • Analyse claim data and trends to identify opportunities for process improvement and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Stay updated on developments in the Australian Insurance and regulatory environments, ensuring compliance and providing guidance to internal stakeholders as necessary.

What’s needed for me to be considered?

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in claims management within the Property and Casualty insurance sector.
  • Strong working knowledge of the Australian Insurance market and regulatory landscape.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Proven track record of handling complex claims and delivering results within specified timelines.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and identify trends.
  • Professional certifications (e.g. ACII) are desirable but not essential.
