Pay Rate to Candidate: £415.92 / day UMBRELLA or £304.80 / day PAYE

A governmental organization is recruiting for 6 Chartered Civil Engineers to join a 6-month hybrid basis in Glasgow. As a Senior Civil Engineer, you will be managing and overseeing the development and delivery of trunk road maintenance schemes across Scotland, as well as managing maintenance agents, developing and delivering asset maintenance schemes (including management of contract performance and stakeholder engagement). You will also be undertaking the Technical Approval Authority role under the Design Manual for Roads and Bridges regarding the Approval in Principle (AIP) for bridges and structures and consideration of Departures for Standard.

The successful candidate must be educated appropriately in the civil engineering discipline, as well as holding chartership. You must also have project management experience and significant experience and knowledge on roads and bridges. Ideally, the candidate will have previous experience working for Network Rail or Highways England.
