This company identify, develop and deliver utility scale solar and energy storage systems across the UK and the world, their portfolio includes some of the largest solar farms in the UK. Following an incredibly successful past few years and the increased demand for renewable energy they are currently in an exciting growth period and as such they are now looking for a Senior Civil Engineer to join the team.

In this role you will take responsibility for the review and assessment of designs from a structural perspective to lead optimisation efforts to allow the continual development of the Solar PV and BESS pipeline. You will be the go to civil engineering expert for the office in which you are based and help drive the continuous improvement of engineering methodology for the business.

The ideal candidate will come from a background of renewable energy development and have at least a Bachelors level education in Civil/Structural Engineering. You will need to have experience with design and design review processes for the construction of large scale utilities projects, any experience with PV or BESS is advantageous.

The Role:
*Senior Civil Engineer
*Working on Utility Scale Renewable energy projects
*Focus on design optimisation and civil engineering due diligence
*4 days in office per week, can be based in Dublin or Cork

The Person:
*Minimum is Bachelor's degree in civil engineering
*Need experience in construction environment for utility scale projects (multi-disciplined)
*Experience using design software's such as AutoCAD and Civil3D
*Knowledge of PV or BESS components is advantageous
