Senior Care Assistant

A Senior Care Assistant is required by an "outstanding" rated family run care home for the elderly and their friendly team, based in Bridport.

This full-time position offers an average of 36 hrs per week (with opportunity to increase this if required) and also gives the opportunity for extra hours to cover holiday etc. The shifts will include every other weekend. There is also the opportunity for additional permanent daytime hours, in addition to the night hours to increase the average number of hours per week.

What they are looking

The successful candidate will be-
  • Compassionate
  • Caring person with a good work ethic and used to working as part of team
  • Experience in elderly care essential and experience of running a shift and administering medication desirable but not essential as full training will be given to the right candidate.

  • Full training and a 12-week company induction will be provided, with exciting opportunities to take further diploma qualifications in the future. 
  • They also pay double time for bank holidays and always value and look after their staff
  • Offering a £300 starter bonus, payable after successful completion of the probation period.
