Seeking a Senior Buyer, with a very sophisticated taste-level, responsible for both developing womenswear product and selecting from independent artisans and small companies around the world.

The successful candidate will be responsible for working with the talented design team to create beautiful product. It is a very hands on role, with a very small team in a family run business.

A unique London based family run Womenswear brand, with a 50 year history, offering beautiful ethically sourced product.

Description

  • Work directly with business owner
  • Identify new product opportunities that align with customer preferences.
  • Analyse market trends and apply this knowledge buy strategies.
  • Oversee product quality and supplier performance.
  • Contribute to the development of the overall retail strategy.
  • Collaborate with other departments to achieve company objectives.

Profile

  • A degree in Business, Retail Management, or a related field.
  • With a very small team, have a very hands on approach to the role
  • Proven experience in a womenswear buying role, product development experience is a must.
  • Strong negotiation skills and a keen eye for detail.
  • A thorough understanding of market trends.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
