Senior Buyer. Hybrid working available

Our IT client based in Cirencester is recruiting a Senior Buyer. Working with a team of two staff working with the project and sales teams to support national and international client portfolios.

Key Responsibilities will include:

  • Securing quotes from existing and new suppliers, procurement of technological solutions (Annual Revenue £10M+) and investigating alternatives where required.
  • Achieving and measuring effective procurement savings while maintaining quality and a preferred supplier list
  • Working with your team in acting as point of contact for suppliers, dispatch, and internal staff regarding lead times, kit deliveries, and courier requirements.
  • Managing and maintaining relationships with key suppliers to provide value and quality.
  • Optimising process, systems, and automation for efficiency within the department
  • Central point of contact between internal departments and external suppliers and customers with an aim to achieve cost effectiveness for all involved.
  • Working with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that client expectations are met.
  • Working with the accounts department to aid in prompt and accurate customer and supplier invoicing.

The right candidate must have the following skills & experience:

  • Experience of Netsuite or similar business systems
  • Experience of Managed Services with associated recurring billing cycles would be beneficial.
  • Ability to lead by example and provide cover and flex in the team.
  • Ability to learn tools, technology, and processes quickly.
  • A "never stop learning" mentality and can apply it daily.

  • Salary up to £40k + bonus
  • Flexible 37.5 hours per week, either 8.30 - 5.00 or 9.00 - 5.30, Monday to Friday.
