I have a fabulous opportunity to join a people focused corporate travel business based in Shrewsbury as a Senior Business Travel Consultant! This is a full-time position with a hybrid working model.

About my client:
They are a well-established Travel Management Company with extensive experience and industry knowledge. Utilising leading technology, including their own market leading online booking tool, they provide tailored travel solutions to their clients across the UK.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Managing complex travel itineraries,using Travelport GDS, OTAs, and our company's OBT.
  • Provide personalised travel solutions to clients, ensuring cost-effectiveness, traveler convenience, and optimal margins.
  • Handle client inquiries and offer assistance throughout the travel process.
  • Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing clients while building trust with new clients.
  • Contribute to the ongoing development of our customer-focused business.
  • Ensure accurate and timely client invoicing.
  • Present to clients and conduct review meetings professionally.
  • Analyse travel data to identify cost-saving opportunities.

Experience Required:

  • Proficiency with GDS systems, preferably Travelport.
  • Strong overall UK travel knowledge
  • High level of numeracy and accuracy.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Clear and confident communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Previous experience as a Business Travel Consultant
