Senior Business Development Manager - Aerospace
Our client, a leading aerospace company, is seeking a Senior Business Development Manager to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and managing relationships with strategic customers and business development partners. You will play a crucial role in driving new activities, identifying new prospects, and managing contracts.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct market analysis and competitor analysis to define the company's position in the aerospace industry

- Identify and manage key business partners and intermediaries to help shape the company's market position

- Act as the primary point of contact for key account customers, representing the company's interests and understanding their needs

- Develop and implement sales and marketing plans for key accounts, aiming to increase market share

- Participate in customer reviews and meetings to strengthen relationships and ensure customer satisfaction

- Identify and pursue new opportunities through tenders and respond to calls for tenders

- Lead the execution and management of key contracts, ensuring adherence to customer requirements

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support program operations and drive operational performance

- Assist in data analysis and interpretation tasks to achieve the department's objectives

Job Requirements:

- Significant experience in business development, sales, and leadership roles in the aerospace industry

- Familiarity with the aerospace market, competition, and aerostructure manufacturing techniques

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret manufacturing standards and specifications

- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build and manage business relationships

- Detail-oriented with the ability to work under tight deadlines and deliver results

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

- Autonomous and capable of working in a team environment

- Bachelor's degree from a reputable institution (Business or Engineering School)

Salary and Benefits:

- £70-80,000

- Pension 5% Match

- 33 days AL inclusive of bank holiday
