A dynamic and forward-looking Chartered Building Surveying practice in South Essex is in search of a Senior Building Surveyor to strengthen their team.

The successful Senior Building Surveyor's Role

The successful Senior Building Surveyor will become an essential part of a team that includes 22 experienced Building Surveyors and Architectural Technologists. This role is ideal for a professional who is adept in contract administration, specification writing, and has experience in party wall matters.

Responsibilities of the Senior Building Surveyor include:

• Managing and supervising a range of projects to ensure the highest quality standards are met.
• Engaging with clients effectively, offering professional advice and solutions.
• Taking the lead on tasks related to contract administration and specification writing.
• Playing a significant role in, and at times leading, party wall matters.

The successful Senior Building Surveyor will have?

• MRICS or keen to complete APC.
• Extensive experience in building surveying within a consultancy environment.
• Strong technical skills, particularly in contract administration, schedules of conditions and party walls.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of confidently interacting with clients and leading project teams.
• Have a desire to progress to Partner level.
