Senior Banking Associate

This expanding banking and finance team in London is seeking a Senior Associate to join them in driving forward the growth and evolution of their practice.

This presents an outstanding opportunity for you to handle a diverse and engaging caseload while collaborating with esteemed clients.

This is a fast-paced, rapidly growing, and forward-thinking law firm who work with high-profile clients across innovative sectors and have an international presence with over 1,400 professionals in offices across the UK.

Your Responsibilities:

• Manage a portfolio of banking matters independently and assist Partners with larger transactions
• Deliver exceptional service to clients by closely collaborating with colleagues from various UK offices, spanning both banking and finance and other specialized teams
• Support Partners in business development initiatives and cultivate strong relationships with new and existing clients
• Delegate tasks appropriately within the team, ensuring optimal resource utilization and development of junior members
• Supervise delegated work, fostering a supportive and coaching environment for team members' growth
• Focus on financial targets and objectives at both team and group levels

Your Qualifications & Skills:

• Qualified Solicitor (SRA or Law Society Registered) with a minimum of 5 years' PQE in a similar legal environment
• Essential experience in drafting LMA style loan documentation, with preferred knowledge of real estate finance and/or structured/specialty finance
• Forward-thinking individual with excellent analytical, communication, and organizational abilities, demonstrating self-motivation in managing workloads and deadlines
• Commercially astute with exposure to business development, adept at nurturing and maintaining client relationships
