Senior Associate/Associate Residential Property Conveyancer
GMP Recruitment are proud to be partnered with a passionate and progressive Legal firm in Cheltenham who specialise in a multitude of Legal services.
They are looking to recruit an experienced Senior Associate/Associate Residential Property Conveyancer to join their ambitious team on a full time, permanent basis.
They are seeking a motivated 6+ year PQE Residential Conveyancer to enhance their busy Residential department based at their Cheltenham office. Successful candidates must be a qualified Solicitor or a Chartered Legal Executive with at least 6 years’ PQE. This role will suit a highly experienced Residential Conveyancer looking to further their career with a reputable firm.
Senior Associate/Associate Residential Property Conveyancer main duties:
- Manage a range of property matters from initial instruction through to matter conclusion
- Opening files and progressing matters
- Providing cost estimates to new clients
- Undertaking business development activities
- Liaising with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders and Solicitors in a professional and timely manner
- Use your technical experience and knowledge to support & mentor the wider team as required
Senior Associate/Associate Residential Property Conveyancer desired skills and experience:
- A breadth and depth of residential property experience and capable of handling a varied caseload.
- Ideally you will be a qualified Solicitor/CILEX with 10 years + PQE (however this does not preclude those applying with more or less experience)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- IT Savvy and proficient in the use of Ms Office (Word, Outlook etc.) and experience of using a case management system such as Proclaim
- Commercially aware with a good understanding of business development activities, established contacts/client following desirable
- A good understanding of compliance and risk
- Experience of coaching and mentoring team members
