Senior Analyst- Media Owner - £45,000 - £55,000

The Company

A Senior role at one of UK's leading publishers, they boast some iconic brands and deliver quality, accurate and real time content/news across the country. You will be needed to support the development and growth of the Publisher's digital platforms and to make an impact across the business. You will take a proactive approach by providing insight and recommendations from their data and BI tools to different senior stakeholders across the business with a focus on e-commerce analytics.

• Manage 1 junior analyst and excellent progression opportunities

The Job

• Deliver reports and analysis on the performance of content, products, revenue and commission across all of the eCommerce verticals.
• Utilise knowledge of the sector to provide tactical and strategic direction and support where necessary
• Work with the eCommerce team during any new business development pitches to ensure that data provision is at the forefront of discussions and negotiations.
• Support a variety of eCommerce stakeholders, from junior journalists to the ceo, together with other areas of the business as and when required, for example the Marketing & CRM team, Commercial Data, Finance and Editorial.

About you

• Good proficiency with Dashboarding/visualisation tools (PowerBi, Tableau, GDS, etc) & SQL
• Experience with Google or Adobe Analytics
• 3+ years experience in marketing/web and e-commerce analytics
• Management/mentoring experience is ideal but by no means essential
