A very prestigious life reinsurer are seeking to hire a Senior Actuarial Analyst to join their valuations team. You will get exposure to how longevity and BPA deals impact upon their liabilities on their balance sheet.

This would suit an ambitious senior student who is keen to progress their career at a global re-insurer and keen to get exposure to a highly lucrative business area that is regularly transacting on deals worth £ billions in liabilities to their balance sheet.

You would be responsible for understanding the impact on the balance sheet and financials of new business and providing visibility to senior management on the financial performance of their longevity business. This team have an excellent culture and are dynamic in how they operate. You would be involved in lots of non-BAU related project work and ad hoc investigations.

This would suit either an ambitious senior student / nearly qualified actuary from either a life insurance or pensions background (looking to move into a life insurance role). Prior relevant experience is desirable but not essential.
