Senior Accounts Payable Assistant

Based at our Head Office in Whyteleafe, just 15 minutes outside of Croydon and easily commutable from London.

Great hybrid working model - 2 days at head office and 3 days working from home, plus flexi core hours.

We’re on the lookout for a detail-orientated Senior Accounts Payable Assistant to log and match invoices and be responsible for stock.  As part of your role, you’ll work closely with other departments and stakeholders, supporting the Accounts Payable Manager with all AP processes. So, you will be someone who thrives in a busy, fast-paced environment, with excellent people skills, who’s a natural problem-solver.

A bit about the role…

  • Taking responsibility for Stock – processing invoices, reconciling accounts and communicating with internal departments.
  • Assisting the AP Manager with weekly payment runs.
  • Supporting company compliance with relevant tax regulations.
  • Proactively getting involved in the evolution of processes, financial controls and outputs for Accounts Payable.
  • Establish and build fantastic relationships with other departments, holding regular meetings to discuss queries.
  • Supporting and inspiring two AP assistants with their role in running non-stock and expenses.

We’re looking for someone who has…

  • Previous Accounts Payable experience.
  • An outstanding attention to detail.
  • The ability to build and manage amazing stakeholder relationships, establishing great relationships both internally and externally.
  • A ‘make it happen’ approach, someone who enjoys a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • An affinity with our brand and is an authentic ambassador of our people values
