Senior Accountant

Management Accountant / 6 Months / Liverpool / £40k-45k / Hybrid working / Enhanced annual leave

Accountable Recruitment are working with an organisation based in Liverpool City Centre for a Management Accountant to join them on a temporary to permanent basis.

Key day to day duties will include:

- Full production of management accounts
- Prepare and maintain budgets
- Liaise with budget holders on an on-going basis on all financial matters.
- Produce and present financial management information, budget monitoring and other reports.
- Assist in the production of reports for key stakeholders.
- Responsible for holding meetings and advising budget holders
- Promote and support financial awareness and budget.
- Management training of budget holders to ensure they are equipped to deliver their budgetary responsibilities.
- To ensure maintain the integrity of financial information within the ledger.
- Support the closure of the accounts in accordance with the published timetable.
- Assist with the production of statutory returns.
