Job Title: Senior Accountant

Location: London

Contract Details: Permanent, Full-time

Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per year

About Our Client:

Our client, a growing organisation in the accountancy industry, is seeking a qualified MAAT or Part/Fully qualified ACCA Accountant to join their team. Based in their London office, this role offers an excellent opportunity for a self-motivated and highly organised individual to take ownership of their own client base, while working within a collaborative team.

Responsibilities:

As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for:

  • Full accounts preparation and submission to Companies House and HMRC
  • VAT knowledge
  • Bookkeeping experience
  • Payroll knowledge
  • CIS knowledge
  • Self-assessment preparation knowledge

Essential Skills, Qualifications, and Experience:

  • Accounting experience
  • ACCA (part or full) or AAT (fully qualified) certification
  • Strong knowledge of accountancy practices
  • Experience with accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, Sage, TaxCalc, etc.

Desirable Skills, Qualifications, and Experience:

  • Experience working in an accountancy practise

Technologies:

  • Accountancy software (Xero, QuickBooks, Sage, TaxCalc, etc.)
