Senior Accountant

Responsibilities:

• Preparing accounts and production using Iris accounts software
• Preparing and filing tax returns for limited companies and sole traders
• Preparing and filing annual confirmation statements
• Regularly liaising with clients on tax and accounting matters
• Attending client meetings when required
• Client tax registrations with HMRC
• Overseeing the bookkeeping process
• Reviewing and approving VAT returns
• Overseeing Payroll and auto-enrolement process
• Training on cloud applications as and when reqyured

Skills and experience required:

• Experience working in Accountancy practice (Essential)
• Excellent interpersonal skills and experience building strong client relationships
• ACCA/ACA qualified or qualified by experience
• Experience using Sage, Xero and Quickbooks (Desirable)
• Analytical approach to their work
• Highly motivated and driven
