Senior Accountant

We are currently seeking an Interim Accountant to support our senior finance team for an initial 6-month period. This is a hands-on role within a global organisation known for its fast-paced growth and long-established history. The ideal candidate will be able to work flexibly, with a hybrid working arrangement in place.

• Assisting with Month End and Year End processes.
• Producing Statutory Accounts in compliance with relevant accounting standards.
• Preparing Corporation Tax and VAT returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Assisting with the Budgeting cycle, including reporting on variances to support financial decision-making.
• Liaising with both internal and external auditors to facilitate audits.
• Undertaking other ad-hoc finance projects and tasks as required to support the finance team.

• Proven experience in accounting roles, with the ability to handle Month End and Year End independently.
• Strong knowledge of producing Statutory Accounts.
• Experience with Corporation Tax and VAT returns.
• Familiarity with budgeting processes and variance reporting.
• Excellent communication skills for liaising with auditors and stakeholders.
• Ability to manage ad-hoc finance projects and tasks effectively.
