Our client, a well-known global talent management agency and accountancy firm is seeking a talented individual to join their dynamic team. With over three decades of experience, our client has established itself as a market leader in providing specialized tax, accounting, and royalties advice to a diverse clientele including musicians, performers, athletes, and industry professionals.

As a vital member of the team, you will play a key role in managing client accounts, ensuring meticulous bookkeeping, and providing exceptional service. Reporting to a dedicated Business Manager, you will assist in maintaining sales and purchase ledgers, preparing VAT returns, and fostering strong client relationships. Your responsibilities will also include handling ad hoc tasks and providing support across the team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a diverse portfolio of clients, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
  • Utilize your technical expertise to review financial statements and ensure compliance with relevant legislation.
  • Prepare corporation and personal tax computations, as well as monthly management accounts.
  • Maintain strict adherence to deadlines, ensuring timely completion of tasks to the required standard.
  • Offer expert advice to clients on their accounting needs and provide ongoing support.
  • Supervise and delegate tasks to junior team members, ensuring quality and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with the Tax department, demonstrating a working understanding of tax accounting principles.
  • Oversee client billing and review work in progress, ensuring accuracy and transparency.
  • Provide training and guidance to support the development of the team.

About you

  • ACCA/ACA qualified with 2 years post qualified experience
  • Proficiency in bookkeeping software and experience in preparing VAT returns.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a diverse portfolio of clients and meet deadlines effectively.
  • Previous experience in team supervision, with a keen eye for detail and quality assurance.
  • Thorough understanding of personal and corporate tax regulations.
  • Confident communicator with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
