JobPurpose
  • Support a wide variety of clients across accounts preparation and tax computations, monitoring the commercial aspects of portfolio management.
  • Working closely with the senior management team to ensure expectations, deadlines, and budgets are being met across the portfolio.
  • Supporting junior accountants by reviewing work and providing training.
  • Building strong rapport with clients, proactively handling queries and problem solving.
  • Preparation of management accounts, VAT, and other general accounting duties.
  • Keeping a keen eye on news and regulations that could impact your work or the wider firm.
  • Identifying improvements to processes to increase accuracy and efficiency.
  • Champion your own professional development, regularly undertaking training opportunities.

Job Requirements
  • ACCA or ACA qualified or equivalent.
  • Proven track record across accounting, tax, and financial reporting.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong up-to-date technical accounting knowledge.
  • Good attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Self-motivated and able to oversee workflow.
  • A team player able to bring out the best in others.
