Senior Accountant – North Nottingham – Competitive Salary – Great Benefits - Hybrid working

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Senior Accountant to join a leading manufacturing company based in North Nottinghamshire.  The Senior Accountant will lead the Manufacturing Finance agenda, supporting the company's sites across different locations.  Reporting directly to the Head of Operational Finance, you will act as a strategic business partner to the COO and Operations Leadership Team, identifying and analysing risks and opportunities to achieve annual business unit targets.

Key responsibilities …

  • You will review the month-end reporting, performance analysis, financial forecasts and annual budgets
  • You will cost-track strategic initiatives
  • You will lead and manage a team of Management Accountants
  • Act as strategic business partner to the COO and Operations SLT
  • Identify and analyse risks and opportunities to the business

What the client is looking for?….
  • You must be a qualified accountant ACA/ACCA/CIMA with relevant post-qualification experience
  • You will have previous experience working within a manufacturing environment
  • You will possess good communication skills and be able to get stakeholders on board.
  • You will have a proactive approach and bring others along on the journey
